Napa

Last weekend Josh and I got to escape the kids for a couple days and go winetasting in Napa! We had never been up there before and had heard mixed things from people, but we absolutely loved it! We stayed in Yountville at a cute little B&B that was walking distance to the restaurants and shops. Every meal we had was so delicious! The first day we walked to lunch and a couple store-front wineries, then spent a little time at our hotel pool. The next day was a full day of wine tasting and our last day we went on a really beautiful 5-mile hike before we flew back home. It was so nice to get away with just the two of us for a little relaxation. We definitely plan on going back again in the future!

Lunch at Hurley's next to some pretty sweet peas

We took a little walk along the river for a sunset picnic next to some grapevines

Our first stop - Cakebread winery

Picnic lunch at Clos du Val

Josh on our 5-mile hike through the redwoods

At the top of our hike

Me walking under a fallen tree - this was one of the most beautiful hikes we have ever been on!

There were all kinds of streams everywhere, we even saw some deer
