Owen's HOT Party

The day after Owen's actual birthday was his party. We went with a fire truck theme this year since that is one of his favorite things. We had the party in the park in our neighborhood so that there would be lots of room for the kids to play. The big highlight of the party was the real firetruck that showed up, along with two "firemen" to give rides.

I think Owen was a little overwhelmed at first - but he was loving it by the end and kept asking to go on more rides

After the rides were over, the firemen let the kids squirt the extinguishers which were filled with water. They set a hat on the cone and the kids had to try to knock off the hat with the water

Owen had so much fun celebrating with all his friends! The funny thing is that now every time we see a fire truck, he asks me if we can go for a ride! :-)
