For the past 3 years now we have gone down to the train station to see the Metrolink Holiday Toy Express. The train pulls into the station all decked out in Christmas lights, and then they put on a little performance on one of the train cars. The performance isn't so great, but the kids get so excited to see the train pull up with all the decorations. This year they even added snow at the end. I think my favorite part is just getting bundled up and waiting for the train while we drink hot cocoa (with peppermint schnapps for the adults) in the parking lot. A fun time as usual with our family and the Hogans too!
